For some reason this just made me laugh.
The triathlon companies are always innovating and this is no exception. I was deeply active in triathlon for five years so I understand the passion…but this may be reaching just a bit.

The to-do list for Saturday went pretty smoothly which we were very grateful due to our rather interesting night.

Time to go and run that little marathon they have up there.
The race is on Monday, I repeat Monday. Strange day for a race but it is a civic holiday (Partriots’ Day) in the state of Massachusetts.

I like to cut back on the food shoved in the mouth during a major taper. No need to put on a couple extra pounds right before the event. Per the rumor, one extra pound of weight is equal to three pounds when running. No thanks!

The Ironman 70.3 Championships is being aired on NBC Saturday at 5:00pm EST. The event took place last November in Florida. In case you don’t know, the distances for the event are 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, and 13.1 mile run. This is a fun distance because it requires both solid endurance and speed.
