    Hey David,

Thanks so much for the “Tough as Nails” mention on the podcast. My pacer and I were joking for the last two hours of the race of whether or not I was going to get the “Tough as Nails” award.

Bandera was my very first 100k and other than the weather and resulting course conditions, I think my race went about as well as I could have hoped for.

Love the site. Keep up the good work.

Ken – The Tough As Nails award is yours! 🙂

Love your trail running spirit as well…regardless of the conditions, focus on what you can control, keep moving, get it done.

Thanks for the kind note on the site and congratulations on the finish! We really appreciate you!
