Meet the Tribe: Jeffrey Beck of Louisiana

“If you seek it out, it is there.” – Jeffrey Beck

Hey kids, the Meet the Tribe series continues…where we get to chat with groovy folks throughout the TALON (TX, AR, LA, OK, NM) region!

We are heading to the Bayou State for this one, as we enjoy some healthy banter with Jeffrey Beck of Louisiana.

Jeff is a passionate dude that loves the outdoors and has played a big roll in the introduction of trail running in the state.

We chat with Jeff about his introduction to trail running and a recent running adventure that included a near vertical rock face and a rope. Plus Jeff shares the inside scoop on trail running in Louisiana and some of his favorite places to play along with some goodies on his adventure company, Forge Racing, which provides trail races throughout the state.

Forge Racing events are also known to have some cold beer post-run to assist with the recovery process…so we had to ask about some of his local favorites!
