Cossatot River Trail Half Marathon – 2011 Results

Within the Ouachita Mountains of south west Arkansas, 45 runners played on the newly renovated Cossatot River Corridor Trail for the inaugural Cossatot River Trail Half Marathon.

This point-to-point adventure guided runners along the scenic banks of the Cossatot River with the finish at the parks visitor center.

Results
Joshua Snyder dashed off the only sub-8 minute pace to create a three minute gap from the closest chaser, Jon Bitler. Joshua earned the male win in a time of 1:44:25.
Jon was firmly in second position and crossed the finish line in 1:47:28.

Alison Jumper pushed the pace across the line to finish in just under two hours after scampering with the top five of the overall race. Alison finished fifth overall and won the female race in 1:59:23.
Natalie McBee finished second female and ninth overall with a time of 2:05:28.
