TALON Dirt & Distance Magazine – Share Your Black Toenail Pics with the Region

Hey TALON trail and ultra runners!

First, who/what is TALON again?

TALON represents the states of Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and New Mexico!

If you live in the TALON region and have a trail or ultra race report, running adventure, trail/ultra photo(s), a favorite black toenail pic, or some inspirational or reflective musings on this sport we all love, you can share and inspire, humor, entertain, or educate others in the region by submitting it for publication in my new digital magazine called – TALON Dirt & Distance.

Borrowing a few words from the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln, TALON Dirt & Distance is a magazine of the people, by the people, for the people.

TALON Dirt & Distance will contain:

  • Your trail and ultra adventures from anywhere in the world – both race and adventure runs!
  • Your trail and ultra photos! (we get giddy about photos at Endurance Buzz!)
  • Your reflections or thoughts you would like to share about the sport!

I know there are some amazing stories and creative people in our region with trail and ultra running goodies waiting to be shared!

Front of the pack, back of the pack, middle of the pack, right of the pack, left of the pack, don’t care… you all have stories to share. We would love to gather these creative expressions of yourself and share it with others. You are greatness!

And like everything at Endurance Buzz, the TALON Dirt & Distance magazine will be completely free. Bam Shazam!

How Often?

Initially TALON Dirt & Distance will be published monthly or bi-monthly depending on the number of submissions.

Hey Jeff – Thanks dude! I really appreciate it. No need to subscribe. I will mention when published and available for viewing on the main Endurance Buzz site / Facebook / Twitter.

Thanks for your interest. Hope all is going well! Any races coming up?

Just a few road races for me! We did the Chicago Marathon, and then we’ve got the Run from the Water 10 miler in Austin in 10 days. I’ve got to add a race run or two!

    How was Chicago?

Have a great Fall season. This has got to be my favorite time of the year.

Would you be interested in submissions about obstacle/mud racing as well? I do several of them a year mixed in with my trail running. My next race is the 8+ mile Super Spartan on December 3rd.

Hey Daniel, Great to hear from you!

A periodic submission would be cool. The heart of the magazine will be focused on trail/ultra running but a little obstacle course adventure may be interesting for some to read.

    Have a great one!
