Run For Remembrance 9/11 – 2011 Results

A special ultra event took place at Olmos Park, a short drive north of downtown San Antonio, Texas called Run for Remembrance. Solo and relay teams ran one mile paved loops for 9 hours 11 minutes and 1 second to honor those who lost their lives on 9/11 and those who have died fighting or continue to work for our freedom.

All event proceeds went to Soldiers’ Angels, a non-profit group that provides aid and comfort to the men and women of the United States Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and their families.

This unique experience started at 10 PM and continued through the evening and early morning hours before ending at 7:11 AM the next morning.
