Jemez Mountain Trail Run – 50 Mile Course Flyover
By David Hanenburg on 11 Mar 2011 at 3:46 pm | Tagged as: trail running course flyover
Jemez Mountain Trail Run is likely the most mountainous trail run in the TALON region. This adventure takes place towards the end of May every year in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
I happened to notice that the race website had some data files of the course so you know I had to create some flyovers to give you a taste of these mostly high altitude adventures.
The first flyover I want to share is the 50 mile course. (The data files were collected from the race website as of March 2011.)
A couple stats of interest (especially for flatlanders):
- 12000 feet of gain
- Altitude ranges from 7000 – 10500 feet
This is the real deal.
