Sooner State Games Trail Run – 2011 Results

Last weekend, the Trail Run event of the 2011 Sooner Winter State Games took place on the trails of Bluff Creek Park within Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. There was only a trace of the winter wonderland that had visited the region a little over a week before. The melted snow meant sections of trail included some slip sliding muddy fun as only a trail run could provide. The sun shone brightly this morning and the smiles were nearly as bright.

A group of 75 runners laced them up and participated in the 14 mile, 7 mile, or 3.5 mile park run.
Course
From looking at the pics the trail appears to contain plenty of single-track, some paved trail, and some open field running.
Based on the results, the main loop was 3.5 miles. Loop it up until you reach your desired distance.
