Kilian’s Quest – Run to the Summit of Mount Kilimanjaro

Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa peaking at 19,341 feet and is the fourth most prominent mountain in the world, rising 19,289 feet from its base. Simply an amazing sight…and this is from pictures and video, which doesn’t come close to show to true majestic nature of this mountain.

Kilian Jornet is on another running adventure, with a desire to break the previous ascent/descent record of Kilimanjaro (8h25min) held by a local resident named Simon MTuy. As part of Kilian’s preparation, he is provided insider tips to go after his goal with the gracious help of current record holder himself.

Enjoy this visually stunning and inspirational two part Kilian’s Quest video series that contains the preparation and then the attempt.
