Oxygen lovers can stay home for this one.

(Looking at Hope Pass – 12,600 feet)
With a course ranging in altitude between 9,200 and 12,600 feet, 88 inspiring and slightly crazy (in a good way) TALON athletes are heading to high country for the Leadville 100 trail run in Colorado which starts Saturday morning at 4 am. Our region represents 11% of those registered.
As a region of mostly flatlanders, the number of TALON athletes going after it, is pretty BA.
Conditions for the weekend seem pretty nice with partly cloudy and sunny conditions for the weekend with temps ranging from 40′s (lows) to low 70s (high). This is for the city of Leadville.

Live Race Day Coverage??
I haven’t been able to find anything.
Anyone know if there will be some race day coverage?
Regardless, I am officially fired up for this event. The buzz in the city must be electric. Good luck to all the athletes!
