TALON Dirt and Distance Tidbits – Austin Trail Running and Secker Off To Germany

Here are couple recent TALON trail/ultra items that caught my attention.

Russell Secker Back at it
Austin ultra athlete, Russell Secker, is going long once again in another European stage race. In 2009, Secker finished the 2920 mile 64 day TransEurope Footrace (his book on the adventure – Running Across Countries).
This week Secker is running 200 miles across five days in the Baltic Run (in German). This adventure guides runners from Berlin to the Baltic Sea. I guess this would be considered a speed workout.
