TALON Athlete Wins Free Entry into 2011 Western States 100

Kind of cool! During race day check-in of this years Western States 100, Oklahoma trail runner, Henry Bickerstaff, was one of the three people drawn to receive a free entry into next years race. Congratulations Henry!

You may recall, Henry participated in this years Western States and finished just over 29 hours. (pre-race profile and results summary)

What is the purpose of the drawing

This is a simple fundraiser, where 100% of that money collected is used to preserve and protect the Western States trail.

No More 2011 Raffle Entries, How about 2012?

If you are interested in throwing your name into the raffle for free 2012 entry, the next drawing is on December 4th, 2010.

Simply get the raffle ticket form, along with some cash ($5 per ticket) to the Western States crew by  December 3rd.
