If you would like to get in some night trail running experience this weekend in north Texas, you may want to check out the charity driven, Bar-H Boondoggle Six Hour timed trail run.
The story behind this low-key event put on by Antje Spethmann
IN 2005 I discovered a Charity called Captain Hope’s Kids, which tends to the needs of homeless children. They were seeing an increase in homelessness among the families of service men and women who were deployed overseas.
We created the Boondoggle to gather diapers and supplies for the kiddos and were hugely successful. Over the years, CHK has asked me to donate cash, as they can buy more per dollar at the wholesale level, so the donation of $10 for this run goes directly to CHK.
Event Details (Evening Trail Run)
