Over the weekend a course record fell, as 165 trail runners enjoyed the Arkansas outdoors at the Ouachita Trail Run in Little Rock, Arkansas. Athletes had two ultra flavors to choose from; the 50 mile or 50 km.
Course
Both the 50 mile and 50 km runners enjoyed the same rocky mostly out-and-back single track course that leads athletes over Pinnacle mountain and along the shores of Lake Maumelle. There is six miles of road running in the mix as well.
