Destination Ultramarathon: Jungle Marathon 2009 Stage 4

Destination ultramarathon kick-off series continues with Stage 4 (Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3) of the Jungle Marathon held in the beautiful and challenging jungle in Brazil.
Stage 4
Stage four takes ultra athletes from Pini and finishes at Tauri. Within 20 meters, athletes are sent straight into the drink! Get those feet good and wet, right from the get-go. The 23.98 km stage includes much more running…assuming you still can at this point.
Some good insight within adambrown.tv Stage 4 video:
- Why carry a knife?
- What happens when you step on a bees nest in the middle of the jungle.
- How to make flip-flops out of ultra gear.
Enjoy!

Stage 5 sounds like it will be a monster day! I will post it next Friday for our weekend kick-off.
Have a great weekend!
