Ultrarunning For A Cause

Ultrarunning is a sport that represents different things for different people. For most of us ultrarunning represents much more than simply moving one foot in front of the other although at the end of a 100 miler, that would suffice.
My relatively short existence in this sport has clearly highlighted one thing – the number of compassionate and great all-around people within the sport.
With that being said, I would like to profile TALON (Texas, Arkansas, Louisinana, Oklahoma, and New Mexico) ultrarunning athletes that have added a new dimension to their endurance sports experience by running for a charity of their liking. Periodically, I would like to share their story with you.
These athletes will share a bit about themselves and what brought them to this wacky sport. You will also become aware of their goal ultrarunning challenge that is being inspired by the charity. If a certain charity also resonates with you, you have an opportunity to help support a regional athlete. I hope you enjoy it.
