Hey Chris - Great insight on Liza's improvement and WS adventure.

Olga - It was nice meeting you a bit out on the trail. I am grateful for the 75. Next time, hopefully I get the full experience. :)

I was about to say same thing as Chris (which I learnt from him...or may be Liza) - the nursing thing.

I remember you and my comment! Bummer it didn't work out that well. Next time though:)

Dave:

Nice analysis and enjoy the blog!

I run with Liza some so have a couple of insights on her improvement. Her mileage base is much better this year and Amanda McIntosh, her coach, has really helped her in improving her performance and staying strong throughout the race. Also she was nursing her baby last year during races which isn't optimal for running fast times.

WS will be interesting. She definitely has the ability to do great things there. Hopefully Texas will help prepare for the heat. Biggest challenge will be the wear and tear on her quads from handling the downhills which are harder to train for her because we don't have the extended downhills. But she'll definitely give it her best shot!!
