Hey Greg - Nice Hammer fuel mix. I also do not use the little Hammer Gel packets for my training or racing but they did work well for this giveaway situation. The little packets can be nice to determine which flavor(s) you like. After that, buy the Hammer jug (cheaper and less waste).

There will be more fun contests in the future. :)

I'm a big fan of Hammer products. I use sustained energy and heed mixed, endurolytes, and gel in a fuel bottle. I loathe the little foil packs. Fuel bottle is the way to go.
Sorry I missed your contest.

Kelly - Seven Sisters sounds like a nice challenge. 12 miles, rocky, 3700 ft of climb. Nice. :)

Jay - Awesome! We will have to meet up at a trail or race in the near future. Good luck to both Samantha and yourself in your running journey. The half mary should be a good time as well. Wendy ran her first half at White Rock and really had a comfortable day with minimal/consistent training. It was fun being on the support side.

Funny you should ask... Samantha and I were just talking about that the other day. My real goal is to drop twenty pounds so when I run, I don't feel like I'm carrying a backpack around.
To that end, Sam wants to run the Rock and Roll Half Marathon in March. I'd like to go back and do some trail runs, even if I'm nowhere near being able to do an ultra. I think just being at, for example, Cross Timbers, would be a good motivation for me.

I have a SUPER sensitive stomach, and Hammer is the only gel I used at the Bandera 100K. No fructose! Their Perpetum is really good as well for long distance adventures. Hammer is too legit to quit.

I am getting ready for the Massanutten 100 in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains of Viginia.

I am planning on running the "Skyline to the Sea" trail 50k out on the west coast...it runs from the mountains above Los Gatos, CA to the beach...all on sweet single track under a redwood canopy. Been recovering from a pretty jacked IT band over the last 2 months so that has set me back a little in chasing my initial goals but this is the first next big step!
