Dave — I’ve had very similiar experiences with the Rumble. For some reason I get massive leg cramps on that course and last year I puked my brains out for 2 miles. You got the finish and now it’s on to Bandera!

Congrats on the tough finish. I lived near Denton and I’ve just started on my ultra journey. I’m planning on doing this one next fall. I have enjoyed your site and the fact that you’re in the DFW area. It’s nice to learn more about the races and trails in the area. Good luck with Bandera.
