Hammer Nutrition Sale: Sports Nutrition and Clothing

Hammer Nutrition is having their end of year sale on basically everything on their site; sports nutrition, supplements, and clothing. The sale runs from November 12th – December 17th but don’t wait too long if you are interested in anything because when it is gone, it’s gone. (especially with respect to clothing items)
If you like their products, now is the time to stock up for this winter and next year. If you haven’t tried their products, now would be a great opportunity to test them out. They make some of the most health conscious sports nutrition products in this market. (No colorings, low sugar content, no artificial colors, gluten free, etc)
I also like that they have the option to purchase bulk quantities to help reduce cost and environmental impact.
Below are some of the products that I like and have been using for many years.
Sports Nutrition
Hammer Gel – Their gel product. It comes in a wide range of flavors and can be purchased in bulk recyclable jugs and all you need is a small flask to carry your gel when running. If you want to test out the various flavors, you can check out the sample pack.
HEED – Their powdered-electrolyte drink. Simple to toss a scoop or so into your bottle, shake, and go. The flavors are mild and are not over-dominating.
Electrolytes – A wide electrolyte profile that comes in both in capsule and loose powder versions. A simple little Hammer coin dispenser can carry the capsules on the run.
Gear
Running Shorts (men’s, women’s) – I dig these shorts! Hammer’s running shorts are actually a Race Ready product made here in the U.S.. Sometimes you just need a bit more storage space and these shorts give it to you. My review: great trail running shorts. You cannot beat the discounted price for this product.
Socks – I like their black (good for the trail) Hammer socks. They are a thin ankle sock so if you like a beefier sock, these probably wouldn’t work for you.
Free Guide
Hammer also has a free sports nutrition guide which can greatly ramp up you knowledge on hydration and fueling during training and racing. Of course, everyone is unique on some levels but it can take you a long ways to help eliminate the major mistakes. Of course, sometimes we need to learn the hard way.
