Palo Duro Trail Run – 2009 Results

2009 Palo Duro trail run results are up for the 50 mile, 50 km, and 20 km race!

Some interesting notes from the results.
- Female 50 mile winner, Megan Haley, was second overall with a time of 8:33:37 (avg 10:16 min/mile). Impressive!
- The male 50 mile winner, Jacob Fetterolf (age 20), popped off a 7:48:19 (avg 9:22 min/mile). So much for age being a factor for long course endurance sports.
- Male 50 km winner, Jason Brooks smoked through the course with a 7:24 min/mile average for a total time of 3:49:34.
- Finishers on the trail ranged in age from 12 – 81 years old. This is just cool.
What a day.
