2009 DRC Breakfast Bash 5 Mile Non-Race Report

The short and sweet of it.
I was a DNS due to bug hickey on my ankle. It was still an enjoyable morning being a member of the family support team.
Here is a little picture montage capturing the morning.

Wendy positioned (at least for a moment) to take on the big dogs at the front.
Griffin and I trotted a 1/2 mile before Griffin requested to play in the puddle next to the road. He had no interest in going anywhere else.
We cheered Wendy and Amy during the final 1/2 mile as we were still playing in the puddle. “Run momma run. Run, run, run.” – Griffin
Post race family fun enjoying breakfast burritos, bananas, juice, and various food bars. Puddle playing created quite an appetite.
