A Busy Recovery Week

Last week was meant to be a recovery week but with family in town, it was far from recovery but definitely a good time. We got in some bocce ball, disc golf, cards, board games, and even a bit of neighborhood pool time. I did that work thing as well. Extra sleep and relaxation time was missing during the week but now that it is just the three of us once again schedules should hopefully stabilize a bit.
A bonus to the week was a local 4 mile race on Saturday. It was fun to crank up the effort level and learn how to manage discomfort again. I will provide a little race recap tomorrow.
The next 8 weeks is the heart of this training cycle so things are about to get interesting.
The Weekly Low-Down:
run: 32.72 miles (5 sessions: 5, 5, 5, 4.05, 13.67)
bike: 0 mins
weights/core:1
Happy Training!
