The Taper Begins

I have just completed my second solid week of marathon prep training and it feels good to have survived. This week was especially tough with the Yassos included as one of the three key workouts of the week. (key wo#1, key wo#2, key wo#3)

The Weekly Low-Down:

run: 63 miles (6 sessions: 7, 9, 5, 9, 25, 8 )

bike: none

weights/core: 1 Crossfit-type session

Next up….the three week taper. Overall volume will drop but I will still keep the tempo and speed work going. Hopefully the body and mind will be up for it. I am looking forward to the recovery/off day tomorrow.
