Sports Recovery Drink – Nutritious and Tasty

Here is a fairly simple, nutritious, and tasty recovery drink that I really enjoy. The mixed berries really provide a nice POW for the taste buds after a solid workout.


10-20 gm. of protein
1 cup rice milk (organic if possible)
~ 3/4-1 cup organic mixed berries (frozen or fresh – I have typically bought frozen)
optional: 1/2 cup crushed ice (typically added during hot summer months)

– Mix in blender and enjoy!
Calorie count: ~225 – 275 (depending on amount of protein)
