5 Miler Treadmill Workout #2

Here is my 5 mile treadmill workout from this morning. This session is a bit more intense than workout #1 from last week as I increased the incline and extended the duration of “work” time.
The workout is split between hill and flatland intervals once again. I really like doing the hill work first because when I get to the flatland intervals it feels so easy and fluid. The turnover seems to happen very naturally when the grade no longer exists.
I have used generic labels again so you can define the pace that works for you.
Effort Levels:
Easy - able to talk to the person on the treadmill next to you
Focused - looking straight ahead, minimal talking
Hard - no desire or ability to talk
Workout #2:
After the warm-up, each ‘Effort Level/Incline Grade’ entry represents .25 miles.

Happy Training!
