26 Feels like 14

26 degrees Fahrenheit, Feels like 14 degrees Fahrenheit.

That was the temperature Saturday morning as I walked out the door to get in a 10 mile run. When living in the south, this kind of temperature is especially COLD, COLD, COLD. There also was a nice 15-20 mph wind from the north that added to the challenge for three miles of the route.

My wife thought I was a bit goofy heading out in these temps, probably not the first time either.

You know it’s cold out when:

  • your nostrils burn with each inhale
  • your cheeks relay a sensation of needles quickly being inserted and removed

I felt them both and still enjoyed the run. (remember my wife saying something about goofy)

What are the toughest conditions you have exercised in?

Have a great rest of your weekend.

Feel the BuzZ!
